A Palestinian-American youth who spent a nine-month period in Israel's custody without charge was released.
The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was fifteen years old when he was arrested in February throughout the West Bank territory, while he was vacationing while residing in Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.
American diplomatic officials said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.
Mohammed, now 16, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, family members reported.
Family described him as showing signs of malnutrition, and experiencing medical problems contracted in captivity.
Via family representatives, Mohammed's uncle spoke of the family's "overwhelming sense of relief".
Family member Zeyad Kadur stated the family experienced "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" over the last nine months.
"At this moment, we're concentrating on ensuring Mohammed receives the immediate medical attention he needs after experiencing harsh conditions and brutal treatment for months."
The state department said it would continue to provide consular support for the Ibrahim family.
{"The Trump Administration considers paramount than the safety and security of American nationals"," officials stated.
A group of American legislators endorsed a document to diplomatic officials and the White House, requesting additional efforts to secure his release.
Mr Ibrahim, with four children operating an ice cream shop from Florida, had earlier stated Mohammed acknowledged allegations about rock throwing because the soldiers beat him.
The father hadn't visited or communicated with his son since the arrest, receiving updates exclusively about his son's condition in detention through court documents.
The teenager remained without charge in Ofer prison throughout the occupied territory.
The facility also contains mature inmates, featuring prisoners sentenced of serious terrorism offences and murder.
An estimated several hundred young Palestinian detainees detained within Israeli facilities, according to the Israeli Prison Service.
Several lack formal charges while advocacy organizations, and international organizations, say some have suffered physical abuse and torture.
Subsequent to his liberation, family representatives announced they would maintain their efforts for justice for his cousin family member Sayfollah.
The dual national youth per medical officials was beaten to death by radical settlers following tensions in July.
During that period, defense forces stated they were examining reports a Palestinian civilian had died.
Both young men collaborated at their family's ice cream business based in Florida.
No charges have been filed with Sayfollah's killing.
"We anticipate US authorities to ensure our family's safety," Mr Kadur said.
