Plane Transporting Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Due to Fracture in Cockpit Window

A jet carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was required to make an unplanned landing in the UK on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official statement which stated that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft landed in accordance with standard procedures and everyone onboard, such as Pete Hegseth, is secure," a press officer commented in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the city of Brussels during the flight.

This event isn't the initial instance that a American defense plane ferrying a high-ranking official has encountered mechanical issues.

Earlier this year, a American military jet ferrying Secretary of State Marco Rubio to the German city of Munich was required to turn back to Washington DC after encountering a mechanical fault.
